Redeemer Nursery School, a 3K & Pre-K For All school run by the New York City Department of Education, accepts children of all religions and nationalities who turn 3 & 4 by the end of the calendar year. We are a licensed school by both the New York City Department of Health and the New York City Department of Education.

 

We have 2 full day 3K classes for 2-3 year olds which have no more than 15 children and 1 full day PKA class for 3-4 year olds which has no more than 18 children.  Both 3K and PKA are taught by certified teachers and teacher assistants. 

 

Here at Redeemer, it is our philosophy that all children can learn with the attention of our highly trained teachers, who strive to develop the whole child socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. All of our teachers use a hands-on learning approach. Furthermore, all classes are age-appropriate in design and in use of curriculum, which is based on the New York State Common Core Standards for children ages 3 to 5. Using these guidelines, our teachers ensure that each child leaves their classroom with the ability to succeed in Elementary School by teaching children reading, language, writing, and math skills through conversation, child-driven creativity, and compassion.
